About Us

Welcome to Courteous Travel, where you can expect to receive a relationship that goes beyond that of supplier/customer. We will go that extra mile to accommodate our customers requirements.

We pride ourselves on having a superior work force that are trained to offer you the best possible service, where you can expect to receive the highest possible level of professionalism and customer care, from all our staff, ensuring that your experience with us will be second to none.

Because of this approach to customer care, all our drivers are DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service), formerly known as the CRB (police Criminal Records Bureau check).

All drivers undergo a full training programme before driving for us.

Going The Extra Mile

We at Courteous Travel believe that there is more to life than just profit and being a local company, serving the local community, we should do our bit for the local community.

Below are a few of the examples on how we do this:

August 2011 - Charity Auction - In 2011 we donated a free return taxi trip to and from Luton Airport for a charity auction in aid of cancer research held by the Rotary club at the Priory Centre.

Augut 2017 - Little Paxton Friendship Club - In 2017 we decided to "adopt" the Little Paxton Friendship Club as our Chosen Charity and have been providing them with free taxis and minibuses for their outings from a day trip to Sherringham back in 2017 to afternoo tea at Carriages of Cambridge in Fen Drayton, a trip to the Shuttleworh Museum and to their annual Christmas Dinners, all at no charge.

Sherringham August 2017

Christmans 2017 - Local Taxi Company Goes Bust - Following chatter on social media that a local St Neots taxi company went bust leaving a lot of customers who had paid up front out of pocket and upset, we decided to take action. Not wanting children to lose the magic of Christmans and their holidays, we offered free or at cost trips to and from the airports to families that were travelling with children and had paid up front and therefore lost out.

We advertised this not only on our Facebook page, but also on other local Facebook comunity pages.

April 2020 - Help for Vulnerable and at Risk people - On the 10th of April we advertised on local Facebook pages, including our own Facebook page, and on our website, our offer to pick up shopping and or prescriptions free of charge to local residents who were self isolating, at risk and or vulnerable.

June 2020 - COVID-19 - Help With Revision - On the 17th of June we created and uploaded to our website a Basic Maths Revision Notes PDF file for parents (and students) to view or download to help them revise their maths skills during the total lockdown due to COVID-19. This file is still available to download by clicking on the link.
